Big news from FLOC - NEW Queen Camel Support Group Launching September

the Queen Camel Memorial Hall.

If you're reading this, it's because we need you. Your referrals are the

heart of this.

Please send us any parent who's finding parenting harder than expected

while raising a child with additional needs, sensitivities or a

disability - no official diagnosis is required. If a parent is

struggling, stressed or overwhelmed, we're here for them.

Please read more about FLOC and our work below.

Our next group is launching in Queen Camel on September 9th at 7:45pm in

Our mission is simple: Freeing Loneliness, Offering Community (FLOC) for

parents and carers raising a child with SEND, and improving their mental

wellbeing along the way.

When parents find their FLOC, the difference is measurable. In our own

outcome surveys, isolation fell from 88% to 11%, confidence rose from

25% to 89%, and the proportion feeling supported by a community went

from 38% to 100%.

“I feel part of a community who understands what I’m going through,

and never judged. I loved the openness and honesty of it all - taking

the time to think about how I actually feel and what I think.”

“I came away more connected - and more forgiving of myself. Hearing

other parents’ perspectives was the part that helped most.”

“I’m more resilient, patient and reflective. What stayed with me was

celebrating our strengths, focusing on the positives, and feeling united

through shared experience.”

HOW TO REFER

Parents can self refer by emailing us at findyourfloc@gmail.com or

message Katie at 07921 002 457 - that's all it takes.

If you're sitting with parents whose wellbeing is suffering from stress,

shock, anger, low mood or loneliness, please point them our way.
