Sparkford Parish Council are seeking to appoint a Parish Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer (RFO)
Daisy Wood Summerhouse
Daisy Wood at Sparkford Bridge was gifted to the village in 2019. Sadly the summerhouse at the rear of the wood has due to age become unusable and dangerous.On Saturday 22nd November 2025 at 12:00 it is intended to break up the remains of the summerhouse and contents and transport away. Piper Trimmers are kindly loaning a tractor and trailer to transport the remains. We are asking the village for volunteers to help with breaking the summerhouse and loading the trailer. Anyone who is free for a couple of hours would be very welcome. If you have an open fire you are welcome to take wood from the summerhouse away.
